The college gives community service to
governmental and nongovernmental schools in Central Ethiopia such as Hairhanzi
Special School in the teaching-learning front, by producing hand sanitizer
for covid-19, and distributing it to the community, and Mobile laboratory
for different high scolls. Since laboratories are very important
for laboratory based courses, the College of Natural and Computational
Sciences has delivered laboratory-based natural science courses for other
national universities and Hairhanzi Special High School. Currently, we
are working on different experiments in our laboratory rooms. In our
case, laboratories are divided into computer laboratories and Natural
science laboratories such as Organic laboratory, Inorganic laboratory, Zoology
Laboratory, Microbiology laboratory, Mechanics laboratory, Electronics
laboratory, metamorphic petrology laboratory, Rock petrography laboratory,
Mineralogy and Crystallographic laboratory, Mapping laboratory and others. The
college has four computer laboratories for computer-based courses and
graduates’ research work and a sport practical gymnasium.
