Welcome to the Department of Water Supply and Environmental Engineering.

Our department plays a critical role in addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our time: ensuring access to clean and sustainable water, protecting environmental health, and developing resilient water infrastructure to support growing populations. As a center of excellence in both education and research, we are committed to equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical grounding needed to become leaders in water supply and environmental engineering. Our curriculum integrates strong theoretical foundations with practical applications, fieldwork, and community engagement to ensure our graduates are not only technically competent but also socially responsible professionals.

Our academic staff members have diverse range of specialization and they are deeply engaged in cutting-edge research and consultancy in areas such as: water supply systems design, wastewater treatment, solid waste management, environmental impact assessment, and water resources development and management. We work in close collaboration with industry and government agencies to ensure that our teaching and research remain relevant and impactful to the country.
