School of Law Werabe University School of Law has been established within the context of the broader objectives of the University i.e., provision of quality teaching, research and community service. The Department of Law was officially established by the decision of the University Senate in 2019, and subsequently developed into a full-fledged School and renamed in 2020 as School of Law.The school of law aspires to prepare a competent legal professional who works for the prevalence of rule of law, democracy, constitutionalism, human rights, good governance, tolerance, social justice and development. The school has both regular and extension undergraduate students from 1st year up to 5th year. The regular program of the School of law leading to the award of the LL.B Degree takes five years of two semesters each to complete while the duration for weekend program is six years of three terms each including common courses.

The School is staffed by a team of highly qualified and well experienced faculty members, committed to deliver quality legal education to the students and groom them as good human beings and outstanding Law Professionals.

At the meantime the school is accommodating over 171 undergraduate students and employing more than 18 qualified academic staff actively engaged in teaching, research, and community engagement.

The Students are motivated of high moral, ethical and professional standards towards their personality development and they are always encouraged to participate in National and International events which has led them to prove their talents by getting excellent results and many laurels to the school every year in Moot-Court Competitions, Cross examinations and other extracurricular activities in which deserving Students are provided with internship opportunities in Free Legal aid center.Werabe University School of Law - Committed to Excellence in Legal Education
