It is with great pride and commitment that I welcome you to the College of Social Science at Werabe University. Our College is home to six undergraduate programs Geography and Environmental Studies, History and Heritage Management, Political Science and International Relations, Civics and Ethical Studies, Social Anthropology, and Sociology. Furthermore, we have had two postgraduate programs such as MA in Urban and Regional Development Planning and MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development.

With 88 dedicated faculty members and 558 active students, we have been proud to maintain the highest national exam pass rate in the last three consecutive years since 2023. College of Social Science remains a center of academic excellence, actively engaged in delivering quality teaching and learning, producing competent and responsible graduates, conducting problem-solving research, and delivering impactful community outreach services. The College has successfully produced 765 undergraduate graduates and 32 postgraduate graduates’ who are both qualified and competitive.
