The Department of Arabic Language and Literature
at Werabe University is dedicated to promoting excellence in Arabic language
education, literature, linguistics, and communication. Since its establishment
in 2013 E.C., the department has worked to provide quality teaching, impactful
research, and meaningful community service that contribute to the university’s
overall vision of academic excellence and national development.
The department offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Arabic Language and
Communication, equipping students with the linguistic, analytical, and cultural
competencies needed for effective communication in Arabic. Students are trained
to master reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills while gaining deep
insight into Arabic linguistics, literature, and culture.
By integrating modern teaching methods and technology, the department aims to
produce graduates capable of contributing to fields such as teaching,
translation, journalism, diplomacy, and public communication.
