I am very pleased to have this opportunity to talk about Department of Geography and Environmental. It is with excessive courage and commitment that I welcome you to the Department of Geography and Environmental studies at College of Social Science in Werabe University. Currently Our Department is thought undergraduate programs in regular and summer program and post graduate program MA in Urban and Regional Development & MSc in Environmet and Sustainable Development program.

With 22 Active staff members and 121 active students, we have been proud to maintain the highest national exam pass rate in the last three consecutive years since 2023. Department of Geography and Environmental studies  remains a center of academic excellence, actively engaged in delivering quality teaching and learning, producing competent and responsible graduates, conducting problem-solving research, and delivering impactful community outreach services. Department of Geography and Environmental studies produced 229 undergraduate graduates and 32 postgraduate graduates’ these who are both qualified and competitive.

On behalf of Department of Geography and Environmental studies in College of Social Science at Werabe University, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all our dedicated academic staff, committed students, valued visitors, and supportive stakeholders. Your continued engagement and collaboration are the pillars of our success.
