Welcome to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resource at Werabe University. Agriculture is one of Werabe University's core focus areas. Our location in an agriculturally rich area with diverse agro-ecological zones provides an ideal backdrop for advancing research and development efforts that align with both local and national priorities.

We are committed to ensuring excellence in teaching and learning. This includes fully facilitating teaching and learning, enhancing educational quality through well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and demonstration centers, providing crucial field visits, ensuring a peaceful, conducive, and safe learning environment, and improving student services.

Besides, research is a cornerstone of our mission, with faculty actively engaged in research endeavors since 2011 E.C. We believe robust research is essential for addressing national challenges and raising innovation. Our research is community-centered and demand-driven, aimed at solving problems and supporting national development. The college serves as a hub for research that addresses pressing challenges faced by local farmers and the broader agricultural community, ultimately contributing to enhanced food security and improved livelihoods.

We are also committed to delivering impactful community services and effective technology transfer initiatives. We work closely with local farmers, providing them with access to cutting-edge research, training, and technologies to enhance agricultural productivity and improve livelihoods in rural communities.
