Welcome to the Department of Soil Resource and Watershed Management at Werabe University!

Our program of SRWM aspires to be one of the best five departments in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resource comprehensive universities in Ethiopia, by 2022 E.C. Key messages of department include: fostering collaboration, implementing integrated management, and educating the public to ensure a healthy environment and food security.   Soil and Watershed Management could focus on the importance of sustainable resource management, the integration of scientific and community-based approaches, and the need for collaboration. It could highlight the department's role in conserving soil and water, protecting water quality, and managing resources for both current and future generations. The message should also acknowledge the complexity of watershed management and the technical, social, and environmental expertise required to address these challenges. The program of (SRWM) has mission of fostering community and national development through provision of qualified education which enable to produce competent professionals and engagement in fruitful researches and community services.
