Physics department is one of the programs offered in the College of Natural and Computational Sciences. The department was established in 2018 admitting 60 undergraduate students for the first time. Through time, the department was in a continuous development of its laboratory facilities and human power so that the department can increase its student admission capacity and engage more in research and community services. Currently, the department has 20 academic staffs 17 of them are lectures specialized in different streams. The mission of the Physics department is to produce highly skilled individuals who are well-equipped to contribute to advancements in science and technology. This is achieved through rigorous academic training, hands-on research opportunities, and fostering critical thinking and ethical responsibility
