Accounting and Finance at Werabe University! Our department is dedicated to
providing students with a comprehensive education in the fields of accounting

Background
of the Department
College of Business and
Economics in Werabe University was established in 2010 E.C. As part of the
College of Business and Economics, the Department of Accounting and Finance was
established in 2017 G.C. Since it’s established, the department of Accounting
and Finance has been contributing a lot towards meeting the country’s demand
for trained human resource in the field of accounting and finance.
The main objective of
the department is to produce well qualified manpower who can contribute to the
development of the country. Presently, the department is teaching students and
awarding Bachelor of Arts Degree in both regular and extension which include
evening and weekend programs.
This program is,
therefore, designed to meet the needs of students who have some knowledge of
accounting and finance and who wish to take their knowledge to an advanced
level. The program consists of core courses covering the main areas of
accounting and finance, and research method courses that can support the
graduates regarding research in the area of accounting and finance.
