Dear
Students, Faculty, Staff, and Visitors, it is my great pleasure to welcome you
to the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS) at Werabe University.
Since its establishment in 2021, the college has made significant strides in
training highly skilled, ethical, and compassionate healthcare professionals
who are well-prepared to meet the evolving health needs of our society.
Our
college was founded with a clear vision: to become a center of excellence in
health education, research, and community service. We are proud to offer a
diverse range of undergraduate programs, including medicine, nursing, public
health, medical laboratory science, pharmacy, anesthesia, and midwifery. These
programs are grounded in evidence-based curricula and delivered by a dedicated
team of qualified instructors and health professionals committed to academic
excellence and public service.
At
CMHS, we place strong emphasis on student-centered learning, inter-professional
collaboration, and practical training. We work in close partnership with
hospitals, health centers, and community stakeholders to ensure that our
students gain the hands-on experience necessary to thrive in real-world
clinical and public health settings. In addition to teaching, the college
actively promotes applied research that addresses the pressing health
challenges of our communities. We also engage in meaningful outreach activities
that strengthen our commitment to social accountability and sustainable
development.
As
Dean, I am honored to lead this dynamic and growing institution. I invite
current and prospective students, academic partners, healthcare institutions,
and community members to collaborate with us as we continue to expand our
impact through innovation, integrity, and excellence in health sciences. Thank
you for visiting our website. We look forward to welcoming you to our academic
community.
