The department of Medicine is one of the seven departments in college of Medicine and Health science. It was established in 2013 E.C and started teaching learning process in undergraduate degree of DOCTOR OF MEDICINE accepting 30 students. Currently there are 113 enrolled students and 22 staffs.

Vision

The department of Medicine aspires to be one of the medical schools under the top 20 comprehensive universities in Ethiopia by 2022 E.C.

To produce competent, compassionate and committed doctors that would meet the present and future priority health needs of the Ethiopian population and fulfill international standards for medical education.
