The
Department of Pharmacy was launched in 2021
under the College of Health Science and
Medicine, Werabe University. Since its establishment, the department has
been committed to producing competent, ethical, and skilled pharmacists who can
serve the community through patient centered pharmaceutical care, research, and
professional excellence.
The
department plays a vital role in addressing the growing demand for qualified
pharmacy professionals in Ethiopia’s healthcare system. Through a balance of
theoretical instruction, practical training, and community engagement, it aims
to prepare graduates who are capable of contributing effectively to public
health, pharmaceutical industries, and academic institutions.

contributing to Werabe University’s aspiration of becoming one of the top five
