The
Department of Public Health, under the College of Medicine and Health Sciences
at Werabe University, was established in 2021 with the vision of improving
population health through education, research, and community service.
The
department is dedicated to producing skilled, ethical, and compassionate public
health professionals capable of addressing emerging and long-standing health
challenges at local, national, and global levels.
Our curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, emphasizing community-based education, fieldwork, and research. Through collaborations with public health agencies, healthcare institutions, and community organizations, the department promotes evidence-based practice, innovation, and leadership in public health.
