Developing academic writing proficiency, Introduce foundational concepts in anesthesia ,foster ethical professionalism, innovation, and an informed global and national perspective essential for personal and professional growth.

Year II

Semesters I

Introduction to Anesthesia II, Inclusiveness, Basics of biomedical sciences, body fluids & homeostasis, Basis of infection, immunity and neoplasia, Cardiovascular & Lymphatic System, Respiratory system, Genitourinary, Gastrointestinal system, Musculoskeletal and integumentary system, Nervous system and Endocrine system.

Emphasize the principles of biomedical science, mechanisms of disease, and maintenance of homeostasis while fostering inclusiveness.   Preparing them to apply scientific and clinical reasoning in anesthesia and perioperative patient management.

Physical Diagnosis, Diagnostic Modalities, Internal medicine,  Surgery and Orthopedics, Measurement of Health and Disease, Basics of Anesthesia

Pediatrics, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Preoperative and postoperative assessment and care, Airway management, Pharmacology for Anesthetists

Providing comprehensive knowledge and practical skills. Mastering airway management techniques, and conducting thorough preoperative and postoperative assessments. Integrate clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and compassionate care to ensure high-quality anesthesia practice in various surgeries. Rational use of anesthetic drugs and their implications for patient safety and recovery.

Semester II

General Surgery & Thoracic Emergency Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, Obstetrics and Gynecologic Anesthesia and  Health Promotion and Disease Prevention

Advancing clinical expertise and specialized knowledge in anesthesia practice. Emphasize the principles and techniques of administering anesthesia in surgical, emergency, and obstetric settings while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Effective pain management strategies, both intraoperative and postoperative, and the role of anesthetists in promoting health and preventing disease.

Year VI

Semester I

Neonatal and Pediatric Anesthesia, Trauma, burn and Orthopedic Anesthesia, Day Care and Remote Anesthesia, Anesthesia for patients with coexisting diseases, EENT and Maxillofacial Anesthesia and Research methods, evidence-based medicine and clinical audit

Developing advanced clinical competence, critical thinking, and research-informed practice in anesthesia. Equipping Anesthesia professionals with advanced knowledge and practical skills across multiple domains of anesthesia and perioperative care. Emphasize emerging technologies and innovations in anesthesia. Additionally, development of leadership, management, and teamwork competencies through structured programs (TTP), while fostering research skills and evidence-based practice through dedicated research projects. prepare learners for professional qualification examinations.

V Year

Semester I

Obstetrics and Gynecology Anesthesia, General surgery and urology Anesthesia, Trauma and Orthopedics Anesthesia, Pediatrics Anesthesia and Emergency and critical care

Focus on providing comprehensive, hands-on clinical experience in diverse surgical and patient care settings.  Additionally,  equipping them with the skills to recognize, respond to, and manage perioperative complications and life-threatening situations. preparing students for independent practice in a wide range of anesthesia settings.
