The
Special Assistant of the Vice President for Academic, Research, Technology
Transfer, and Community Engagement plays a crucial role in supporting the Vice
President by driving strategic initiatives, enhancing academic programs, and
strengthening community partnerships.
Key
Roles and Responsibilities
Administrative
Support: Manage the Vice President’s schedule, prepare reports, and assist with
policy development and implementation.
Communication
& Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Vice President
and internal/external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and
collaboration.
Strategic
Support: Assist in the development and execution of strategies related to
academics, technology transfer, and community engagement.
Event
Planning: Organize academic conferences, workshops, and community service
events in support of the Vice President’s initiatives.
Research
Coordination: Support the coordination of research projects and initiatives to
ensure alignment with the university’s strategic objectives.
Technology
Transfer Facilitation: Coordinate technology transfer activities by liaising
with faculty members and industry partners.
Community
Engagement: Collaborate with community stakeholders to design and implement
outreach programs that address local needs.
This position is essential to enhancing the operational efficiency of the Vice President’s office and ensuring that Werabe University continues to excel in academic excellence, research innovation, technology transfer, and community engagement.
